VDOT Endwalls

VDOT Endwalls are available for all types of pipe up to 84" diameter. These endwalls can be provided for skewed pipes as well as multiple pipe situations. The endwalls are manufactured in accordance with VDOT standards and specifications. Below are brief descriptions of the endwall structures.

EW-1, EW-1A, EW-1S

Straight Endwall for Pipe Culverts
- Accommodates pipe sizes through 36” (Round) or 53” x 34” (Elliptical)
- Straight or Skewed Connection Available

EW-2, EW-2A, EW-2S

Winged Endwall for Pipe Culverts
- Accommodates pipe sizes 42” through 96” (Round) or 60” x 38” through 106” x 68” (Elliptical)
- Straight or Skewed Connection Available

EW-6, EW-6S

Straight Endwall for Multiple Pipe Culverts
- Accommodates pipe sizes through 36”
- Straight or Skewed Connection Available

EW-7, EW-7S

Winged Endwall for Multiple Pipe Culverts
- Accommodates pipe sizes 42” through 96”
- Straight or Skewed Connection Available

Straight Endwall for Pipe Arches
- Accommodates arch pipe sizes through 38” (Rise)

EW-11

Sloped Endwall for Pipe Culverts
- Furnished with load-carrying pipe grate(s)
- Accommodates pipe sizes through 60”
- Available in 3:1, 4:1 and 6:1 slope

Sloped Endwall for Pipe Underdrain
- Furnished with rodent barrier screens
- Accommodates pipe sizes through 8”
- Available in 2:1 and 4:1 slope
